Mike Powell & The Echosound is a Syracuse, NY based band built around heartfelt songwriting, strong musicianship, and dynamic full-band chemistry. Led by Mike Powell on vocals and acoustic guitar, the group features John Hanus on electric guitar, Adam Manion on drums and percussion, Zak Masoud on bass and backing vocals, and Jeff Aderman on keyboards and backing vocals.

Their sound blends roots rock, Americana, jam-band movement, singer-songwriter storytelling, and groove-driven arrangements. What began as a more instrumental, jam-oriented project evolved into a song-centered band where lyrics, stories, and arrangements all work together. Their debut album, Plastic Spoon Honeymoon, was released in 2023 and showcases the band’s mix of organic musicianship, thoughtful songwriting, and layered live-band texture.
